SYDNEY TAXI STRIKE
(Received January 24, 10.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, January 24. Most of Sydney’s 1200 taxis were idle vesterdav during a one-day taxi-drivers strike which was called to draw attention to the taximen's demand for a Government inquiry into the industry.
