FILM EXHIBITORS
All sections of the motion i>icture’industrv were represented at a social gathering'held bv the New Zealand Motion Picture Exhibitors’ Association at the Hotel St. George last night in connexion witli its annual meeting. The association’s executive aud council met yesterday, and the annual meeting will be held this morning. Mr. A. B. Fuller, actingpresident. explained, that the executive had departed from the custom of holding ;i luncheon so as Io give its guests a better opportunity of meeting each other. Felicitations were exchanged by tue speakers, who included Mr. Stilwell. 8.M., on behalf of the Film Industry Loard, Mr S. H. Craig on behalf of. the J-ilni Exchange Association. Mr. P. .1 Eccleton, representing independent exhibitors, Mr. K. C'smar, representing major exhibitors, Mr. b. A. Hadley, representing tue projectionists nnd front-of-the-bouse unions. iiikl Mr. O. N. Gillespie, who spoke humorously on behalf ot Hie oJUtimers.” ’l’lie Eoyal Toast, was the only toast. Mus-ical items and a demonstration of magic interspersed the speeches, and after supper the gathering became informal. ______
