Some people who have secured the new ration books have heedlessly set about spending their “O” clothing coupons in the old books on the apparent assumption that, when these were exhausted, they could start on the latest issue, marked "clothing.” However, the latter coupons are not available until May 31, 1943. It. is pointed but .also that tlie special issue for children from five to 17 years old, which is now usable, is intended to remain curcrnt until November 30 of next year, and no more special coupons will be made available before that date.
