BRITISH-AMERICAN MOVEMENT
Mr. A. Leigh Hunt has been re-elected chairman of the council of tbe BritishAmerican Co-operation Movement, and the executive for the coming year is aS follows:—Messrs. W. P. Walker, G. S. Amos, J. Baine, W. F. M. Ponder, G. M. Wilson, J. Penman, A. Leigh Hunt, J. 11. Collins, S. Keruse. L. E. Bennett, N. S. Hunt, C. Burnard, F. R. Jones, M. F. Luckie, W. M. Page, and the Rev. Dr. E. N. Merringtou. Committee conveners have been appointed as follows: —Defence, Parliamentary diplomacy and legal, Mr. C. 11. Weston, K.C.; organization and membership, Mr. Leigh Hunt; hospitality, Messrs. Keruse and Bennett; educational and publicity, Messrs. Wilson and H. F. von Haast. A convener for the trade reciprocity and tourist committee is to be appointed later. Dr. Merringtou and Mr. Ponder have been asked to go into the question of fostering study groups, as well.as a spiritual and cultural committee.
