CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS
Government’s Intentions Sought (By- Telegraph. —Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, November 6. An immediate announcement of the Government’s intentions about. Christmas and New Year holidays is being sought by the N.Z. Manufacturers’ Federation. It was stated today that at the conclusion of the federation’s conference this week delegates bad agreed that it was vital to both manufacturers and workers that a decision should be reached, and as the matter had already been taken up some weeks before with the Government, delegates had decided to press for a decision without further delay. \
