MASTEBTON, November 4. T. R. George's team for the New Zealand Cup meeting carried out further preparation work at the Opaki track this morning. The Champ and Dominate ran five together on the outside in 1.7, and Piastre did an easy seven in L3,>. Dominate will be ridden by L. J. Ellis ill the Derby, and his trainer thinks lie is a good prospect. Dominate is looking very fit, but he will 'bo given n run at Levin on November 21 before leaving for the south. At Levin he will start in the six and will be ridden by K. Smith. W. J. Broughton will ride The Champ in the spruit at the Cup meeting. The Champ has never looked better. Given linn going he is a real champ. Good pace work was done by Mee Bun a two-year-ol<l bay filly by Croupier from Baby Bun. This line looking youngster is owned by Mrs. 11.
