TRAINS DELAYED

Railway Lights Fail (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) AUCKLAND, November 3. Delays of 10 minutes to the Limited express for Wellington and 25 minutes to the New Plymouth express were caused by a fire tonight, iu a transformer box at Westfield, from where the railway has a direct' feed for the track lighting and signalling system on the section between Auckland and Paerata. Au express goods trains for Wellington also was delayed.

The whole of the Auckland marshalling yards were affected till the auxiliary supply was switched on. The Limited express had just begun to move when the signal light at the end of the platform went out and the driver stopped the train after it had moved only about five yards.
