Al a recent- social held in the University Women's Club rooms, Wellington, lhe Welsh Society look lhe opportunity of enlertaiuiiig Welsh seamen representing many counties of their homeland. .X humorous one-act play was ably produced by Mesdames .lesson ami Newman and Messrs. I’. Cousins and Wooleott. Elocutionary items by Mrs. Little and Mr. Llcweilyu. Welsh airs by Hie women’s choir, songs by Mesdames Rudge. and Morrisby and Hu; community singing ol old XX’eish hymns concluded a pleasant evening. Mrs. XV. McLeod presided. Mrs. Babbage and I'rivnlo N McLeod wore the accompanists.
