Japanese Air Base In Shansi (Received October 29, 11. op p.m.) CHUNGKING, October 28. The Central news agency states that Chinese bombers and fighters, operating from an undisclosed base,, successfully raided Yungcheng' in Shftnsl, the biggest Japanese air base in North China, hitting runways, hangars, and grounded planes. Japanese bombers from Burma raided Baoshan, Salween, and Mengtse, in southern Yunan Province . Ten were shot down.
