Popular Mid-Week Dances. Patrons who attended the dunces ot the Hutt Valley Younger Set, formerly known ns the It.S.A. Younger e *-» r 3Yj I 'A Q they were held fortnightly at the K.b.A. rooms, are tinding their way to the oiJames parish hall, Woburn Load, every Wednesday night. The new home is greatly admired, and an efficient working committee and a bright orchestra add to its attractions. Hutt Valley Entertainment. Appreciation was shown by servicemen who attended the Hutt Valley Services Club rooms last weekend. Every section of the Hint Valley community is sharing in entertaining the men, and Catholic women, with Mrs. O Shea as convener, took their turn as hostesses. On Sunday the younger hostesses entertained at afternoon tea and games, items were given by 2nd Lieut. Johns, Captain Muston and Constable Smith. Mesdaincs Milne. IJurrel and Burrell presented a humorous sketch. Mr. Mann and i >• Wood were nt the piano and Mr. • . Kyle was master of ceremonies. .Many special guests attended. The committee is grateful for gifts of meat, nnlk ami cakes.
