CONVOYS IN CARIBBEAN
(Received October 28, 7 p.m.) NEW YORK, October 27. Ships laden with military supplies and civilian necessities consigned to Panama are again traversing the Caribbeau safely under convoy, supplemented by wide-ranging aerial patrols, according to the United Press of America correspondent on board a destroyer at sea. Axis submarines in the area were either sunk or driven elsewhere.
