With a minor alteration due to the addition of an Army team to the fourth grade competition of ’ the Wellington Cricket. Association, the draw for next Saturday will be the same as for last week, when the opening was postponed on account of bad weather. Petone, at Petone; University v. Institute Old Bovs, Kelburii Park No. 1 ; Army v. Kilbirnie, at Kilbirnie; Air Force v. Wellington College Old Boys, Basin lieserve No. 1. ' Arrangements for announcing the abandonment of play on wet days were discussed by the management committee yesterday. Several members suggested that as players’ time was well filled under present conditions and many would work if not playing, a decision should be reached early in the day even at the risk’of the weather improving later.
