Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt, with th' 1 American Ambassador, Mr. Winant, and United States officials, was a guest last night of Mr. and Mrs. Winston Churchill. Today, with Mrs. Churchill, she visited an Air Transport Auxiliary aerodrome in the home counties, where she met many American girls now serving as pilots. , ~ Addressing the workers, Mrs. Roosevelt said women had not been used to anything like the same extent in connexion with aircraft in the United States, but that America would be very grateful for the experience of Britain.
