The accounts of the Dominion Picture Theatres Company for the year ended September 30. show net profit at £2128, compared with £lBB5 in the previous year and £2OOl 'in 1940. With the bala_nce brought forward, £5034, there was £7162 available. After the interim preference dividend had been paid the amount for distribution was £7062. From this the directors recommend a dividend of 3 per cent, on the preference shares, making b per cent, for the year, and 3 per eent. on the ordinary shares.
