The remit was tabled by tlie Wanganui Housewives’ Union at last month's' meeting, mid delegates during the month discussed it with their orgaiilzatioiis nnd voted on it hist night. Supporting tlie remit tlie following information wiih included: Tlie inuniifacture of beer alone requires annually 400,1)1)0 bushels of hurley, 300,000 bushels of mult and 4,032.00011’. ,<>f sugar. Tlie remit will lie sent to headquarters- mid from there will lie circulated throughout branches of the N.C.W,
