STRUCK BY TRAIN AND KILLED

Struck I'roni behind by n miners’ train near the station at 5.10 o’clock tonight, while walking on the track, an inspector of permanent ways at Greymouth, Mr. Henry Wright Buckingham, aged 55, married, sustained a compound fracture of the skull and severe laceration of the brain.
