SOUTH CANTERBURY MEETING
Dominion Special Service. CHRISTCHURCH. October 10. The South Canterbury Jockey Club will hold its spring meeting at Washdyke tomorrow. The principal event, the Teschemaker Handicap, will be contested by one of the strongest fields for some time past and the best sprint talent in the South Island is represented in the list for the Flying Handicap. The track promises to be in excellent order and under the win and place system tiie following horses should be well supported:— Otaio Hurdles: Rockery, Norse, Adlna. Spring Stakes: Retainer, Damascus, Silver Mask. Washdyke Trot: Radical, Terry O'Shea, Helen Lewis. Teschemaker Handicap: Atreus, The Raker, The Joker. Taiko Hack Handicap: Last Effort, Ladv Nuflield, Hinepo. Flying Handicap: Scottish Dale, St. Cloud. Egyptian Rose. Hadlow Trot: Scottish Air. Castlebar, Safety Pin. . Kerrytown Hack Handicap: Arabian Night, Imperium, Erambie.
