POLICE FIRE ON MOB
(Received October 15, 7 p.m.) NEW DELHI, October 11. When a mob attacked a British police officer and a native sub-inspeelor who were making an arrest at Saran, in the Bihar-Orissa Province, the police opened fire, killing one of the mob. Sunitrn Sen, grand-daughter of the late Sir Rabindranath Tagore, the Indian poet, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment and lined under the defence regain lions. .
