SENATOR FOUND DEAD
MELBOURNE, September 0. The body of Senator E. B. Johnston, who recently was defendant tn a Commonwealth taxation ct|se, was found on the beach at Black Rock, near Melbourne, this morning. Senator Johnston had been in ill health for some time- He had been staying with his brother at Blgek Rock. Last: week in a hotel nt Canberra Senator Johnston read ij remarkable (locument to a small group. He intended to read it in the Senate, but was prevented from doing so. The senator, who. was obviously suffering from strain, said in the document that he “was speaking on the verge of the grave. ’
