ANNIVERSARY PARTY

Support For Nursery Funds

The Seatoun branch of the Women’s National Reserve held an enjoyable social afternoon recently on the occasion of its twenty-second anniversary. The proceeds of this party are for the Residential Nursery in Owen Street, where children are eared for while their mothers are in hospital. Mrs. Davis, president, welcomed the guests, and both she and Mrs. A. B. Gibbons, who was the guest speaker, spoke of the good cause to which the proceeds were to go, and of the necessity ot continued generous support. Mesdames I’. Smith and Chapman am Miss .1. Bycroft entertained with musical monologues and songs. Miss Petersen was. the accompanist. The birthday cake made and donated by fill's. Iliggius was competed for and was won by Mrs. Avery. Afternoon tea provided by the members was served.
