Mrs. Hugh MeGill, Eastbourne, has returned to Wellington from a holiday spent in Auckland and Gisborne. Mrs. O. Rixon will return to Christchurch today after spending a holiday with her sister, Miss A. Pedersen. New Plymouth.

Mrs. W. Searle, Hamilton, is spending several weeks in Wellington. Mrs. J. I. Maiden. Palmerston' North, who visited New Plymouth for her sons wedding, is staying in Wanganui, and will later visit Wellington.

Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Dickson, Wellington, accompanied by their small daughter, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Palmer, Gisborne.

. . Mrs. M. Vaughan, widow of the late Flight Lieutenant Richard V aughau, D.F.C., has arrived at Hastings from England. Mrs. Vaughan, better known as Miss Mollie Hull, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Hull, Hastings. She left New Zealand a year ago last February to join her fiance, and was married shortly after her arrival in England.
