National Government Desired
NEW DELHI, August 30.
The working committee of the Mahasabha, the national All-Hindu movement, after a six-hour discussion, appointed a sub-committee to prepare a draft resolution which it will consider lomorrow on the Mabasabha’s attitude to the political situation. The discussion revealed that members generally favour an immediate declaration of Indian independence, with a national Government representing all '.parties taking over all Federal powers. Four vacancies in the National Defence Council of India have been filled by the appointment of Sir K. V. Reddi, Mr. It. T. P. Masani, Pundit Rajnath Kunzru and Mr. F. R. Anthony.
