The Home Secretary. Mr. Morrison.' today reminded the public that by the desire of the King, next Thursday, which is the third anniversary of the outbreak of war, is to be observed as a national day of prayer and dedication. In connexion with the facilities which are being given to workers and members of the Services', and also children, to participate in the broadcast service from 11 a.m. to 11.15 a.m., the Government desires work to cease as far.as practicable during this quarter of an hour.
