REFITTED IN RUSSIA
LONDON, August. 23.
A former German trawler, now sailing under the. White Ensign, is one of the few British warships which have been refitted in Russia. Sue recently spent a month in a northern Russian port, 25 miles behind the front line, while Russian walkers, under the direction of a .Russian trigineer captain, repaired Hie damage done by ice and overhauled the ship’s engines. The work was done without interpreters. During the trawler’s stay there were seldom fewer than three air raids a day.
