WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL ~ Closing Portion of Manners Street as a Result of Earthquake Damage PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 175 of the Municipal Corporations Act. 1933, I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE on behalf of the Wellington City Council that vehicular traffic, excepting CITY BOUND TRAMOARS and building trades vehicles, will be prohibited in Manners Street between Willis Street and Parish Street until further notice. Vehicles will be allowed in that portion of Manners Street between Parish Street and Cuba Street only tor the purpose of uplifting and delivering goods. NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that pedestrian traffic, with the exception of those people who require to transact business in this area, will be prohibited from entering this portion of Manners Street.
