AXIS SHIPPING LOSSES
LONDON, July 31. Y report from Alexandria says that British warships, submarines and aircraft operating in the , hnvo sunk or damaged 1,431,000 tons of Axis shipping between June, 1910, when Italy entered the war, and last April. This sum represents about one-quarter of the total Axis shipping lost since the war began.
