Pctone’s Easy Win I’elonc bad a runaway win over St. George-Ceiitrill in the Rugby League match at Newtown Park on Saturday by points Io nil- Showing good combination and speed, tries were scored for I/etone by Penman (2), Bankier (2), Matson, Simmons, and O’Connor, three ot. which were converted by Solomon, Milligan and O’Connor, and Cates potted a goal. Mr. W. Holland was the referee. Randwick beat Aotea by 21 points to 1 This ended the one-round competition, with Petotie the winners, and a knockout contest will start on Saturday next. On August 15 a match will be played between a Combined Services team and a Wellington representative thirteen. The Services team should be strong, as it will include such well-known players as G. Carruthers, J. Corliss, L. Bernacker, S. Woods, M. Sullivan, W. Patrick, R. Prince, O. Kennedy, 11. Stewart, R. Cleland and F. Kreyl.
