Weekend Concert.
During last weekend large numbers attended the Hutt Valley Services Club, run by the women's section of the U.S.A. Saturday night was given to dancing and on Sunday afternoon games were played and afternoon tea was served by girls of the club. At night a concert programme included items by Mesdames Jones, Jlurrell and Burrell, some Harafongan girls, Tairi Tarings, Tiria Tarilia, Novroa Mttrearai and Miss Jocelyn Beusiead. Mr. 11. Gray, president of the Hutt Valley U.S.A., conducted community singing with Mr. S. 'Wood at the piano.’ ,Members of Lower Hutt TownsVomen's Guild (Dominion Federation) were hostesses for the weekend.
