SOLEMN WARNING TO INDIANS

LONDON, July 30.
In a statement in the House of Commons the Secretary of State for India, Mr. Arhery, said tfiat the Government still stood firmly by the broad intentions of its recent offer to India. The present demand of the Congress Party would, if it succeeded, bring about a complete dislocation of the vast machinery of government in India. ' ’ .
Men of goodwill everywhere • must refuse to envisage such a catastrophic development in one of the most important theatres of war. The Government must solemnly warn ail those behind the Congress Working Committee’s plan that it will take every possible step to meet the situation. .
