U.S. 1 SYNTHETIC RUBBER PRODUCTION
(Received July 28, 10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 27. The War Production Board announced its approval of an increase in synthetic rubber production to 870,000 tons a year, as a result of the improved Standard Oil process for butyl rubber not involving additional plant.
