YEAR AHEAD OF SCHEDULE
Empire Air Training Scheme (Received November 15, 8 p.m.) WASHINGTON, November 14. Air Marshal W. A. Bishop, Canada, said that the Empire air training scheme was a year ahead of schedule. Hundreds of pilots are already in action with the R.A.F., in addition to Royal Canadian Air Force units in service in Britain. He added officially that it was not planned to train pilots in the United States during the winter.
