Relations With Britain And United States SHANGHAI, November 14. Tlie Hanoi correspondent of the Dome! news agency interviewed the Governor-General of French IndoChina. Vice-Admiral Deeoux, who said that he was confident that Japan and Indo-China, through a mutual understanding, would be able to achieve a realization of the new situation based on mutual confidence and respect for their joint benefit. Vice-Admiral Deeoux added that questions regarding Indo-China's relations with England and America were "extremely delicate.” “Indo-C’hinti,” lie said, "is maintaining close and cordial relations with both countries. 1 believe it would be against the interests of France to break off relations with England and America, and 1 intend to follow a policy which, will enable Indo-China to remain at peace with England and America provided the European war does not spread to the Far East.”
