ILLEGAL DISPOSAL OF CHILD’S BODY

A woman, aged whoso name was suppressed, pleaded guilty in the Magistrates’ Court to charges of disposing of the dead body of a child with intent to conceal its birth and procuring miscarriage by the unlawful use of .-in instrument. She was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Cecil Roy Plumb, motor-driver, aged 2<>. who allegedly performed the operation. faced the same charges. He pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial.
