HUGE FIRE CAUSED
R.A.F. Raid On Durazzo
LONDON, November 12.
It is reported from Athens that British bombers completely destroyed a depot of combustibles in the chief Albanian port of Durazzo last night, causing a huge fire which was visible for 100 I'niles. They also blew up a munitions depot at Valona. R.A.F. bombers sighted three large ships on lire 15 miles from \ alona. They may have been towed out to sea after Greek bombers had attacked them on November 10.
Italian airmen bombed an English cemetery in the Kiikis district, in the course of wanton raids ou places of no military importance whatever, states a communique issued by the Greek Ministry of Home Security. Villages and hamlets in Epirus were attacked, and in one village enemy airmen swooped down to the very roofs of houses, and in addition to maehineKutiniug dropped hand bombs on inhabitants. The morale of the population, however, remains excellent. An Italian communique says the enemy planes last night bumbed the Taranto naval base and extensively damaged one ship. Italian planes bombed Janina. Kastoria. Corfu. Larissa and Lake Presba.
