Railways Ambulance And Nursery Division Though tiiuuerieally nut so strong as other branches in Hie railways, the Wellington railways nursing and ambulance division is tepefied lo have accomplished excellent service, 186 cases of injury within the branch's district last year having been treated. On Tuesday night there was a fair attendance in the railway social hall to witness a demousl ration of first aid work, triangular bandaging and stretcher work by the branch members. Certificates gained by members of the division were also presented by the General Manager of Railways. Mr. E. ('asey. The ambulance division has been in existence for live years ami the nursing division is in its second year. Al present the membership of both sections is 36. As Wellington Is a traffic centre and transfers are frequent, members are often lost as soon as they are gained, but it is hoped lo increase the membership, particularly as the division lias now become part of the Homo Guard Scheme.
