Reunion Of Wellington College Old Boys

Arrangements are being made to honour the memory of the late Air. J. P. Firth (“the Boss"), formerly headmaster of the AVellington. Boys’ College. Mr. Firth guided the destinies of the college for 29 years, and those who attended at college on February 8, 1892, when Mr. Firth took over the headmastership in succession to the late Mr. J. Mackay, have decided to hold a reunion dinner on Saturday, November

Cm that morning, 4S years ago, 106 boys answered the roll-call, and during that year another 25 boys were enrolled. No fewer than 60 boys and four exmasters of that time are still resident in New Zealand. It is hoped that those from outside AA’ellingtou who attend the dinner which is to be held at the Hotel St. George will spend the weekend In AVellington and attend Old Boys’ Day at AA’ellingtou College grounds on the following Monday. The conveners of the dinner are Messrs. L. McKenzie. AV. AV. Cook. C. A. Innes, C. E. Bridge and J. L. Paletborpe.
