ARGENTINE DEFENCE
Naval Base Proposed Near Magellan Straits BUENOS AIRES, November 12. Following an inspection tour Admiral Mario Fincatri said that the Government was considering the construction of a naval base near the Straits of Magellan. The modernization of two otlvers was included in a defence programme costing 150.900.000 dollars.
