BURNT TO DEATH
Man Caught In Blazing Cowshed (By Telegraph—Press Association.) 'THAMES, November 12. A farmer. Walter Bernard Ntish, was burnt to death in Hie engine-room of his cowshed, this morning. He and his wife left, the house about 5.30 to do the milking aud at approximately 7 o'clock tlie deceased went to tlie engine-room to turn on the separator. A few minutes later his wile, who was at: the cow bails, heard her husband call out. "Turn the cows out. the place is on lire." Mrs. Nash turneil out. the cows, bx which time the whole engine-room was a mass of flames. Mr. Nash’s body was found afterward in a sitting position, terribly ehaiied. His right hand was or. tlie wheel of Hie separator as though in Hie act. of trying to put. tlie belt on. A small benzine tin was found burst open and within eight inches of his tret. An inquest, was opened later trad was adjourned. The deceased was 40 years of age.
