As the result of hard going, the main fields for the third day of the C.J.C. meeting tomorrow have thinnivl down appreciably. Of the six Receptors for the Jockey Club Handicap Nigger Boy is in another race. The Canterbury Cup has only three left iu.
The weather is brilliant and hot and the watering at this stage is unlikely to affect the going. The following horses may be supported in their engagements:— Port Cooper Hurdles: Milford and Sir Frederick. Spring Nursery: Varuna. Par Avion and Silver Lily.
New Zealand Oaks: Belle Cane. Doria and Night Glass.
Jockey Club Handicap: Globe Trotter and Nigger Boy.
