Soldier's Letter of Thanks.

A letter of interest, received from a soldier overseas, was read at the November meeting of the Nireaha AVomen’s Institute. The writer expressed his thanks and appreciation for a parcel from the institute, this having been received in excellent order A competition for a garment for refugee children was won by Mrs. Hawkins, other competitions being won by Mrs. Pel6l- - and Miss B. Drysdale. Mrs. AA ilkin read a report on the half-yearly council meeting at Eketahuna. It was decided to hold the annual picnic on December 28, at a place to be decided later.
