PROPOSED SUBSIDY
Export Of American Maize WASHINGTON, May 8. Officials of the Department of Agriculture are reported to be seriously drawing attention to the proposal to subsidize the exportation of from 20.900,000 to 30,000,000 bushels of maize to Britain and other European countries from the Federal stocks, aggregating 100,000,000 bushels, on which Government loans have been made.
