Napier Quota Of Massifs Nearing Completion

Another consignment of woollen comforts has been sent to the National Patriotic Fund Board -by the Napier Women's Patriotic Corps. It included 240 balaclavas (49 from Napier and 191 from other Hawke’s Bay zones). 108 scarves and 108 pairs of mittens (all from the Napier zone). The Napier quota of 22S hussifs is now nearing completion. The work entailed in -these is batter appreciated when.it is realized that in filling this number of hussifs some 3420 buttons were used, and 684 lengths of thread and wool were measured, cut and plaited in addition to the other contents.
