Mrs. E. W. Chapman, Roseneath, Wellington, is-on a visit to her mother, Mrs. T. Penlington, Akaroa. Mrs. Owen Blaekler, Hazelburn, South Canterbury, is visiting Wellington to meet her daughter, Mrs. William Allan, Ceylon, who' is to spend some time in New Zealand. Misses Sally and Lucy ’WynnWilliams have returned to Christchurch from a visit to ■Wellington. Mrs. H. McEwen and her daughters are Palmerston North visitors to 'Wellington; Miss Ruth Small has returned to Hastings after a trip to England. Mrs. Peter Hall, Hawarden, North Canterbury, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. Norman Kyngdou, New Plymouth, is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Allison, Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. G. R; Stevens, Brooklyn, and their two sons, who are touring the North Island, spent a few days at- “Hotel Manor,” Taurauga, recently.
