SUNK BY SUBMARINE
Steamer With German Prize Crew (Received May 8,11.55 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, May 8. 'A. British submarine sank the steamer Monark, which was in German hands, outside Stavanger yesterday. The Monark left Bergen for Stavanger on May 4. The submarine took off five of the German prize crew as prisoners and gave the Swedish members of the crew 15 minutes to enter the lifeboats.
