FATE OF BREMEN
Corroborative Report (Received May 8, 7.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 8. The “World Telegram” prints a letter from a member of the crew of the German liner Bremen to an American nephew stating: “Our ship was bombed on April 9. We are now interned,” aud corroborating the reported sinking. [Several unconfirmed reports that the Bremen, Germany’s 50,000-ton liner, had been sunk were received early in the Norwegian campaign. She was said to have been used as a troop transport.]
