COLLISION WITH CAR
Two Cyclists Injured, One Fatally £• Dominion Special Service. PALMERSTON NORTH, May 8. Gravely injured in a collision with a motor-car in Church Street last evening, two youthful cyclists were admitted to Palmerston North Hospital. One (lied of his injuries this morning aud the other is still in a serious condition. They arc: DEAD. Herbert. William Fairelough, aged 18J, 524 Albert. St., Palmerston North ; extensive injuries to the head and neck and internal injuries; died at 8.20 a.m. today. INJURED. Franeis ll'dloway, aged 17. 612 Church Street, Palmerston North ; _ extensive head injuries, condition serious. The motor-ear which collided with the eyelists was driven by Mr. Keith Annesley Goldingham, Palmerston North, and was travelling eastward toward Fitzroy Street.
