Meeting' Of N.Z. Council THIRD PARTY INSURANCE lit was reported at the monithly meeting of tlie council of the Naw Zealand Golf Association in Wellington this week that 'tlie number of players now cozened by the third party insurance policy was 17,045, a good increase on last year s total, though many o£ the clubs have not yet taken adivnntage of the cover offered. iSir Alexander Roberts presided and there wore also present Messrs. M. A. Kiely, C. A. Burgess, W. E. A. Gill, J. H. Drake, and G. O. Sutton (secretary). The following clubs were elected members of the association: —iHakaru (North Auckland), Kati Kati, Kurow, Mawheraiti (West Coast), Mount View (Rotorua), and Palm Springs (Papatoetoe, Auckland). , The secretary reported that not a large proportion of the elu'bs had replied to the association’s circular regarding contributions to the National Patriotic Fund, and to date only 70 had sent m contributions, though the average of these was good. It was decided to send a further reminder to the other eluibs. It was reported that the set of golfing films ordered recently should arrive m Wellington soon, and that arrangements would then 'be made to send the sound projector and the films to clubs which desired to have the use of them. The following standard scratch scores were confirmed': —.Bluff, 66; Midhurst, 73; Ongarue, 72; Greyniouth, 75; Tolaga Bay, 71; Halcaru, 70; Nlgaruawahia, 70; Gordonton, 70; Kaikohe, 72; Patea, 72; Kurow, 66.
