TINSMITHS’ AWARD
The Court of Arbitration in M ellmgton yesterday filed an award in the .Taranaki, Wellington, Canterbury, Otngo anil Southland tinsmiths, coppersmiths, ana sheet metal workers’ dispute. The questions of meal money, wages, additional payments for welding and ship repair work, und the term of the award had been referred to the Court. Wages, ,which the Court stated bad been brought, generally into line with the recent Auckland award for the industry, were .fixed at. minimums ranging from 2/4j to 2/9 an hour. The award came into force yesterday for a term of one year„
