Ministerial.

The Hon. H. T. Armstrong, Minister of Health, left Wellington for Auckland by the Limited express last night. Mr. Justice Ostler returned from Auckland yesterday by the Limited express. The Rt. Rev. L. S. Kempthorne, Anglican Bishop in Polynesia, has left Auckland for Nukualofa. Mr. C. M. Turrell, general manager of the New-Zealand Shipping Co., Ltd., was a passenger for the south last night by the steamer express. Mr. A. B. Thompson, lecturer in education at Auckland University College, and Mrs. Thompson arrived at Wellington yesterday by the Limited express. Mr; J. T. Martin, managing director of Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., was a passenger for the north last night by the Limited express. Lieutenant-Colonel W. H. B. Bull, officer commanding the 6th Field Ambulance, Burnham, and (Mrs. Bull are staying at the Hotel Waterloo. Mr. C. E. Robertson, stud stock manager of Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., left for the horth last night by the Limited express. Mr. H. M. Rogerson and Mr. N. M. Speer arrived at Wellington yesterday by the Limited express on Auckland Power Board business. Mr. W. E. Anderson, temporary employers’ representative on the Court of Arbitration, was a passenger from Auckland yesterday by the Limited express. Mr. G. J. Burrell, lecturer in mechanical engineering at. Canterbury University College, who will leave shortly to take up a similar position at the University of Tasmania, was presented on Friday with gifts from the staff of the college.

Mr. M. B. Iggulden, Hamilton manager for the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has been appointed acting manager of the Auckland branch. Mr. R. H. Stewart, Auckland, has been appointed to relieve Mr. Iggulden.

Dr. Ralph G. Park was one of the successful New Zealand candidates in the latest examinations for membership of the Royal College of Physicians, London. Dr. Park, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. G. j. Park, Auckland, has been in the service of the London County Council for the past three years.- After qualifying at Otago Medical School, Dr. Park was on the staff of the Dunedin Hospital.
