PHOSPHATE FOR NEW ZEALAND
Ample Supplies Available (By Telegraph—Press Association./ AUCKLAND, May 6. “There is every reason to believe that ample supplies of phosphate will be available for New Zealand’s requirements, said Sir Albert Ellis, British Phosphate Commissioner, in an interview following his return from Melbourne, where ae attended the annual meeting of the New Zealand and Australian Commissioners. He said I he work of securing phosphate was proceeding salintaC’torily at the islands. 'Some of the commission s vessels had been requisitioned for the transport of foodstuffs to the United Kingdom, but others had been chartered in tilled' place.
